About RMA
A member of the Lloyd's Register Group of Companies
Enhancing the environment while achieving economic prosperity is one of the greatest challenges faced by industry and government managers in today’s demanding world.
For over a decade, Ryerson, Master and Associates, Inc. has been providing our industry and government clients the strategic planning, systems analysis and innovative solutions to achieve their environmental and business growth goals.
Our highly experienced team applies a systems approach to solve complex environmental issues and achieve regulatory compliance in a cost-effective and profitable manner. We consistently produce high quality deliverables for our clients, on schedule and within budget.
Founded in 1994, with a base in Santa Barbara, California, Ryerson, Master and Associates, Inc. (RMA) is one of the first six verification bodies to attain American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accreditation for The Climate Registry. We were also one of the first entities accredited to verify emissions under the California Climate Action Registry (California Registry) General Reporting Protocol and Power and Utility Protocol.
RMA’s verification services include preparing carbon footprints, carbon-reduction project development and verification, climate-action planning, sustainability programs, climate-change adaptation, and renewable-energy programs.
RMA recently joined the Lloyd’s Register Group of companies, an independent, risk-management organization that has delivered verification and Business Assurance services for nearly 250 years. By doing so, we have added global capability and the support of Lloyd's Register’s internationally accredited Management Systems business, Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). LRQA holds accreditation for its certification and verification services from a range of accreditation bodies, including accreditations for EU ETS (European Union Emissions Trading Scheme) and ISO 14001 among other standards, as well as UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) accreditation as a Designated Operational Entity (DOE) for CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) and provisionally as an Accredited Independent Entity (AIE) for JI (Joint Implementation).
RMA is integrating our service offerings and capabilities with LRQA’s global Greenhouse Gas operations, offering our clients the added assurance of each organization’s environmental management expertise and insight combined with North American and global experience.
